Compatible with fragile skin and couperose?
y-PGA is a safe, non-irritating ingredient that may benefit rosacea-prone skin by hydrating and reducing inflammation and redness, commonly triggered by dryness.

Can it replace HA? Which one is more moisturizing?
γ-PGA can retain 4 times more moisture than hyaluronic acid. However, combining γ-PGA and HA in skin care can provide a complete and effective hydration solution, reaching and hydrating multiple layers of the skin for a longer-lasting effect.

Is this a serum or cream?
Our γ-PGA is an emulsion; it is comparable to a lotion.
It is preferably used between your serum and your cream.

Can it be enough as a moisturizing emulsion after ELMW for dehydrated combination skin?
We recommend using it after applying your facial serum and before your facial cream.

What does it smell like?
The scented version (Original)
A light, floral scent - not citrus.
The fragrance is 100% natural (essential oils):
rose oil 0.05%
linden blossom 0.04%
Lemon Myrtle 0.001%
 
Can it be used before retinol?
Y-pga can be used before or after a retinol treatment. However, if applied before, it does not replace the use of a soothing serum, such as our Yellow Plasma serum which we recommend before applying the retinol treatment. Y-PGA has more hydrating than soothing effects.
 
Why so many silicones?
SILIMULSE is an excipiant made up of large molecules that serve as an emulsifier. It is composed of PEG-10 dimethicone and a dimethicone and vinyl dimethicone bipolymer. It is incorporated into the formulation to facilitate the mixing of Bakuchi oil and water, without using heat, which could alter the quality of our active ingredients.
The advantage of this ingredient is its volatile nature, it evaporates completely once the product is applied to the skin.
Therefore, this self-emulsifying ingredient stabilizes the formulation without penetrating the skin.
 
Can it be used during pregnancy?
Yes, it can be used during pregnancy. We recommend choosing the fragrance-free version.
